The political philosophy of the USDP heralds a new dispensation for the nation by professing a philosophy of love for the homeland, enjoining every citizen to be ready to serve it diligently and defend it honestly as the basis for achieving the fruits of the promised land.

Such a philosophy can only succeed if guided by effective institutions formulated to withstand time and self-interest, serving as a moral compass and covenant for and between each individual and the nation.

We, the members of the United Socialist Democratic Party (USDP), united in a common purpose hereinafter, dedicate ourselves to the principles and ideals of social democracy and profess our commitment to social justice, freedom, and the greater interest of the Nation.

Social democracy is a political, social, and economic philosophy that supports political and economic democracy.
